Cracked skin represents a major problem that appears because of dehydrated, dry and inflamed skin that presents also itching.
The most affected areas are the elbows and heels but also the other parts of our body. Not only is cracked skin unaesthetic but it can also cause other problems (fungus, pain etc.)
So, it is very important to hydrate our skin daily. But if we still have cracked skin this can be solved with only one ingredient that is very common.
Coconut oil is well-known for its emollient, calming and anti-inflammatory properties.
It reduces redness, hydrates and prevents dryness. It has also antifungal properties.
Warm some coconut oil and apply on the affected areas in order to hydrate them. For better results it is recommended to apply it daily before you go to bed. Let it stay during the night. In the morning rinse with water. It is also recommended to use it for at least one month.
The effects will be however visible after a few days.
