Did you know that your blood type is the main responsible for your overall health? Believe it or not, it is true.
We all know that there are 4 blood groups – A, B, AB and O – which determine the way in which we respond to different antigens (carbs, proteins etc.) that our body absorbs. This is the reason why certain people are more predisposed to different diseases than others.
Never eat the same thing as your friend
It is a cliché already to hear about miraculous diets that helped our friends to either get rid of pain, lose weight or even sleep better and to never get the same results, even if you follow the diet step by step.
Well, you should know that the blood type is the main ingredient when fighting against diseases or searching for youth, longevity and energy. Each of the four blood types implies a certain type of diet and lifestyle.
Type A – focus on carbohydrates
People with type A should include in their diet lots of vegetables as they are rich in carbohydrates which have high levels of enzymes that break down sugars.
Also, their stomach is poor in hydrochloric acid, the substance responsible for digesting the meat. In other words, type A should be a vegan or vegetarian.
In what concerns the diseases that can affect them, type A are predisposed to diabetes, cancer or cardiovascular issues, but they can also have sleeping problems or hypothyroidism, due to the high level of cortisol present in their blood.
In this sense, we recommend you to reduce sugar, alcohol and caffeine consumption.
Type B – be balanced
The advantage of this type is that they are adaptable. In other words, people can consume meat, vegetables, eggs and low-fat dairy products.
However, they should avoid foods such as peanuts, corn, lentils or wheat because they can lead to weigh gain or tiredness.
Additionally, you should consume all types of meat, rather than chicken which is rich in lectin, an ingredient that can cause autoimmune diseases.
Specialists recommend you to do a lot of sport, particularly tennis, cycling or mental exercises.
Type AB are recommended to consume green veggies, seafood, dairy products or tofu cheese, foods that promote weight loss and avoid smoked and cured meats as they can increase the risk of cancer, due to a low level of stomach acids.
In this case it is important to know how to eat. Because of a poor digestion, type AB should eat little, but often.
Physical exercises are quite necessary for this type, as they produce a high quantity of adrenaline and stress. Therefore, they should do as much sport as possible.
In spite of the fact that they can give blood to anyone but they can receive only from the same group, type O have powerful defense mechanisms.
This happens because their stomach contains high levels of acid managing to digest all nutrients and protect the digestive tract.
Type O are recommended to consume fruits, vegetables and meat but avoid dairy products and wheat.
In what concerns emotions, type O can easily get angry, hyperactive and change their mood, particularly when they are tired or bored.
To combat these symptoms, specialists recommend physical activities such as aerobic several times per week.
